Hello again from an icy Jerry Green Dog Rescue centre!

We all know the gift of a dog at Christmas is incredibly stupid... or do we? Every year people visit the kennels wanting to get a dog for a present. This infuriates me. How can a dog be compared with getting a Christmas present which is disposable a few weeks, months, or years later? Surely no one is that dull? But there is more... Every year I see more and more people turn up on boxing day thinking that they have done the right thing by waiting 24/48 hours, and therefore it is ok to give a dog as a gift!! Um... no.
So, this Christmas come and say hello, bring me a biscuit or two, and show me that you arent stupid!

Christmas Cards
I'm cold, and grumpy (see above) which means its Christmas time, which means there are Christmas cards and packs of festive doggy wrapping paper available in our shop, although I am not featured on any aforementioned items... much to my disgust!

Blankets
The weather is going to start getting wetter and colder now that we are approaching October. With so many of us dogs here getting wet and muddy in the exercise fields (yes, that means you Charlie), and ripping up bedding (Bennie that means you) we will be running out of blankets soon. If you have any blankets, sheets, duvets, or anything else that can be used as bedding please get in contact with the staff at the kennels.
